Andrew's First Haircut and Mom's day at the Spa!

Andrew is not my little baby boy anymore ... no, he is just my little boy. It is amazing how much a haircut can change how someone looks. Saturday we went to get Andrew's first haircut. We went to Funcuts ... a kid friendly salon. Andrew did great. He sat so very still and didn't cry at all. Enjoy the cute pictures!

"Cheese!" Notice how long and shaggy his hair is!

Andrew's First Vacation

We had our first family vacation ... to Snohomish, Washington (just outside Seattle)! A dear friend (Jonelle Judy) of mine from high school (in Kenya) got married September 6th and we were at the wedding! It was a great time of visiting and catching up with friends. We stayed with Joey and Candace Hammer ... Candace went to Union with us. They have two boys that kept Andrew entertained! And Andrew was a great little traveler, thanfully! I was nervous about flying ... scared that I would be "that person" with the crying kid who wouldn't stop. Thankfully, Andrew was not "that kid!" And no, he wasn't this peaceful the whole flight either, but isn't it cute?!

Look at those eyelashes!

Andrew being mischevious ... I'm sure I will see this look a lot in the coming years!
We went to Candace's grandpa's "corn feed" on Sunday. Andrew had the opportunity to ride a horse ... he wasn't too sure about it and in the end really didn't want to be up there!
We also went to Seattle Sunday afternoon to just walk around and sight see a bit. Tried Andrew out on the carousel ... turns out he doesn't like fake horses either! He started crying just after a few rounds and I had to get the lady to stop the carousel. Luckily we were the only ones on there!
Andrew and David, Candace's two year old, hanging out in the stroller ... we got them balloons for being so good!
